Important Notice - Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Ballybay Credit Union Ltd

Update – Effective from Thursday 31st December 2020

In light of the Government’s announcement on Wednesday 30th December, we would like to remind our members that the Credit Union is here for our members.

Counter Services will continue but given the significant increase in cases and Level 5 restrictions, we strongly encourage members to use alternative options where available.

Counter Services available:

  • Cash Lodgements and Withdrawals
  • Loan Drawdowns
  • Limited Foreign Exchange (all currencies except sterling must be pre-ordered)

Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications for new membership at the moment.

If you must call into the office, we politely ask that you adhere to best practices in relation to hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette.  Hand sanitiser dispensers have been placed at each Teller point for members’ use.  To minimise your waiting time, please telephone the office in advance so we can prepare necessary paperwork if possible.

Alternative Options:

If we have asked you to provide us with supporting documentation, these can be emailed, posted, uploaded through CU Online or dropped into our letter box.

Financial Difficulties

If you have been financially affected by Covid-19 and have concerns about meeting your loan repayments, we strongly urge you to contact the Credit Union.  We are committed to helping our members through this difficult time.

If you have been temporarily laid off, placed on short-time working or in self-isolation and wish to apply for a revised repayment schedule, please complete our online form and a member of staff will be in contact with you very shortly.
